This website (daniellaesidarlington.com) is a personal site operated by Daniella Esi Darlington. This notice explains what limited data the site collects and how it is handled, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What the site collects

The site has no login, no forms, and no e-commerce. If you consent to analytics (see below), the site uses Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data:

Pages viewed and time spent on them
How you arrived (e.g. a search engine, LinkedIn, a direct link)
Approximate location (country/city) — IP addresses are anonymised
Device and browser type
Clicks on outbound links and the "Copy bio" button

No names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers are collected by analytics.

Cookies & consent

Analytics cookies are set only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed and Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies/storage in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Third parties

Google Analytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) processes the analytics data described above, only after consent.
Google Fonts is used for typography; loading a font makes a request to Google that includes your IP address.
The site is hosted on a private server; standard server access logs may be retained for security and diagnostics.

Legal basis & your rights

The legal basis for analytics is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
